Death of Mrs. Docia Kelly. [Correct spelling is Kelley on funeral card & plot purchase]
Mrs. Docia Kelly, died last Friday, after a lingering illness of many years. For the past year and a half she had been a confirmed invalid, being confined to her bed constantly. Death ended her sufferings at 1:25 o'clock.
The deceased was the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Abner Simerel [Simerl is correct]. She was born in Schuyler County, Missouri, August 16, 1867. At the early age of sixteen years she united with the Christian church at Queen City, MO., and has lived a consistent Christian ever since. She removed to Kansas in 1885. On October 16, 1889, she was united in marriage to C. D. Kelly, and in April, 1893, they removed to Wellington. She leaves a husband and one girl three years old to mourn her loss.
