PORT BARRE- Funeral for Mrs. Leopold Richard, the former Eula Mae Marks, 67 will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial in St. Leo the Great Cemetery in Leonville.

The Rev. Michael Hebert will conduct the services.

Mrs. Richard a resident of Port Barre, died at 5:17 p.m. Tuesday, September 28, 1999, in Opelousas General Hospital. She was a retired waitress.

Survivors include her husband, Leopold Richard of Port Barre; a son, Danny Paul Richard and wife Betty of Port Barre; two daughters, Diana Lynn Sidwell and husband Daylon of Woskon, Texas and Fay Hook and husband Bud of Port Barre; three brothers, Percy Marks and Donadiue Marks of Port Barre and Floyd Marks of Leonville; a sister, Mrs. Theresa Jones and husband Richard Jack of Lafayette; ten grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be observed from 4 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. Thursday until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.

Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Port Barre is in charge of arrangements.
