She had worked for 42 years at Rush Hospital as a payroll clerk and then became the manager of the gift shop. After retirement, she worked as a CNA in the Beecher area. She was a lifelong member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Monee.
Ms. Egdorf is survived by a sister, Marion Duensing; two nephews, Stephen (Elfega) Duensing and Jeffrey (Linda) Duensing; great-nieces and nephews, Paul Duensing, Angela Duensing, Stephanie Duensing, Lauren Patterson, Jessica Cox and Keith Duensing; a great-great-niece, Zelda Patterson; and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by a nephew, Kenneth Duensing.
Visitation 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 31, at Monee Funeral Home. Services 11 a.m. Thursday, September 1, at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Monee. Burial in St. Paul's United Church of Christ Cemetery, Monee.
