Carolyn Rochelle Amenta, 62, passed away peacefully at home under the care of her family and Hospice-by-the-Sea on Sat., Dec. 2, 2006. Carolyn was born Jan. 12, 1944 in Pendelton, OR to late Air Force CWO-4 William W. Ledgerwood and is still survived by her mother Hilda Anna Ledgerwood. Carolyn is also survived by her husband, Sebastian P. Amenta; her daughter Andrea L. Amenta; daughter Arienne and husband Daniel Bertucelli; daughter Adrienne C. Amenta; daughter Alexandra Amenta; son Salvatore Amenta; two granddaughters, Quinn and Jayce Bertucelli, all in the South Florida area; brother-in-law Paul Amenta of New Britain, CT; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

An extremely creative and artistic person, she put much of her time and energy into making the world a more beautiful place. With an engaging smile and sparkling personality, it is easy to see how she was able to touch the hearts of so many. Whether it was with her artwork or the sharing of her artistic knowledge with others, she had just the right touch to make things perfect.

Memorial Mass will be held at St. Anthony's Catholic Church on Thursday, December 14th at 10:00am. A Remembrance Gathering will be held on the same day from 4pm - 8pm at Barbara Falowski Funeral Home located at 300 SW 6th Street, Ft. Lauderdale 954-462-4262.
