Howard was the only surviving child of Pearl and Frank Cadenhead, long time residents of Marysville, CA.
Howard passed away at the age of 69. He attended Marysville Elementary, graduated from Marysville High School in 1957 and attended Yuba Junior College. He then spent 2 years with the 101st Airborn Division as a Paratrooper at Fort Campbell, KY. and earned his bachelors degree in Education from Humboldt State University. He embarked on a career in education starting at Santa Rosa and Petaluma High Schools in CA. as a physical education teacher and a football coach. He returned to Humboldt State as assistant football coach for three years and eventually returned to his home town of Marysville to finish his coaching and teaching career at Yuba Community College.
Howard is survived by his wife of 6 years, a daughter and son and 6 grandchildren.
