BETTY STROUD
Miss Betty Stroud, 88, died at the county home on Monday, Nov. 8 where she had been an inmate for fifty-five years. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adam Stroud, who died many years ago, and a sister to the late Henry Stroud. She has no near surviving relatives.
Funeral services, conducted by the Rev. Paul Hicks, of the Methodist church, were held Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock at the Miley Funeral Home, and burial was in the Chariton cemetery.
