Lucy earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Bowling Green State University, and a Masters of Divinity from United Theological Seminary, Dayton. She was a homemaker and moved to Delaware in 1993 from Trotwood, near Dayton.
Lucy loved to learn and enjoyed reading. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Delaware, the church choir, and United Methodist Women.
Survived by one son and his wife, plus three daughters and their husbands. Nine grandchildrn and a brother James Bennett of San Diego, California also mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, plus her husband whom she married July 12, 1951, William Andrew Earl in 1991, sons: David & Daniel Earl; brother Gale Bennett; sister Cora Williams.
