Was born April 8, 1925 in St. Cloud, Minnesota. He passed away after a brief illness on June 28, 2007.
He was a World War II Navy Veteran. He was a member of VFW Post 3982 and American Legions Unit 419. He retired from Swift and Company of South San Francisco and the City of Santa Clara. He was a charter member of the Santa Clara Lawn Bowling Association.
Jerry enjoyed fishing, watching wrestling, baseball, basketball, and football on television. He also enjoyed listening to Lawrence Welk music.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Lorraine; son, Michael and daughter-in-law, Renee; son, David and daughter-in-law, Rovilla; he was devoted to his grandchildren, Jenifer, Michael, Cole and Arielle; he, also, is survived by his sisters, Evelyn Hillbun of San Carlos, fraternal twin, Esther Faust and Marion Dhein and brother-in-law Herb Dhein of Minnesota; sister-in-law, Phoebe Robinson, brothers-in-law, David and Stephen Robinson and wives, Alice and Tracy, and several nieces and nephews as well as family friend, Maureen Fitzgerald.
Jerry will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Private internment. Services will be held. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
