Anthony lived on West Broad Street in Bethlehem and operated a a grocery store at Third Avenue and West Broad Street. A Navy veteran of World War I, he retired from Bethlehem Steel Company. Anthony was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and the Third Ward Democratic Association, both in Bethlehem. Survivors: wife, Rose M. (Farannte) Bucchin; son, Anthony, Jr., at home; two daughters, Mrs. Stanley Gallagher of Bethlehem and Dora M. at home; sister, Mrs. Ann D'Ambrosio of New York City; three brothers, Alfonso, James, and Assemblyman Francis. He was predeceased by his parents, Patrick and Teresa (Vito) Bucchin. A Solemn High Mass will be geld Thursday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
