CALEDONIA - Oct. 18 - Mrs. Clara Annie Buyer, 73, widow of Charles Buyer, died of dropsy at 1:30 a.m. today at her home two miles south of here. She had been ill one week,
She was born Aug. 22, 1871 at Agosta to Gotthart and Elizabeth Strobel Snyder, natives of Ohio. Her marriage to Mr. Buyer took place Nov. 26, 1895 at LaRue.
Surviving are a son, Harry Buyer, two daughters, Mrs. Florence Caskey and Mrs. Mildred Bayles of Caledonia, four grandchildren, and two brothers, Harry Snyder of New Bloomington and William K. Snyder of Pearl street, Marion.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Timson Allen funeral home here with Rev. Donald P. Lyon officiating. Burial will be made in the Caledonia cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
