Ramona Doris Wells Flint Larsen died May 21, 2016 at Gables assisted living in Brigham City, Utah at the age of 87 after a short illness with Alzheimer’s. Doris was born in Corinne, Utah on Oct 1, 1928 to Floyd & Mayme Jensen Wells. She was raised in Promontory, Utah, attending school there then graduating from Box Elder High School.

She married William Leo Flint on Feb 23, 1946 in Burley, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan, Utah Temple on March 24, 1967. They enjoyed living, farming and ranching in Promontory. She loved raising crops and especially loved her cows. They were blessed with 3 children. She worked for Greyhound Food Service at Thiokol in Promontory. She delivered the mail in Promontory for many years, carrying on her family’s tradition. Leo preceded Doris in death Aug 5, 1985.

Doris married Merlin H Larsen on Feb 22, 1987 where they continued to farm and ranch in Promontory. They enjoyed traveling the world, especially their trips to Israel and mainland China. She enjoyed her relationships with his children and grandchildren. He preceded her in death April 29, 2009.

Doris spent many years at the Family History Library in Tremonton doing indexing; she then turned it into a passion spending many hours a week indexing from home. She was an active participant in the Golden Spike reenactment spending every Saturday there. She loved to crochet and made many beautiful items. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints faithfully serving in many callings.

Doris is survived by her children Tessa Breier (Corinne) and William (Paulina) Flint (Sandy). Two sisters Kay (Darrell) Jensen (Clearfield) and LaRee (Richard) Cobb (Ogden). 7 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, 1 son (Dallas) and 1 son-in-law (Jerry Breier).

Funeral services are scheduled for May 31, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Thatcher Penrose 2nd ward building located 11475 W. 10400 N, Thatcher, Utah. A viewing will be held before the funeral from 9:30 to 10:40 am in Thatcher and Monday May 30, 2016 5:30 to 7:30pm at Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home located at 111 N. 100 E. Tremonton, Utah. In lieu of flowers, please donate to an Alzheimer’s research or charity of your choice.
