Mrs. Behn had made her home with Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Hanson of Rock Island, daughter and son-in-law, and was visiting her son in Milan during their absence. She was not ill yesterday.
Louisa Gras was born in Germany on July 24, 1857. She was married to Nicholas Behn in Germany on June 13, 1880, and in 1884 they came to America and settled in Rock Island. She was a member of the Evangelical Church of Peace.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. H. C. Hanson, Mrs. William Martin and Mrs. Charles Geisler of Rock Island and Mrs. A. M. Wilcox of Moline; five sons, Walter of Vanwert, O., William and Harry of Milan, John of Taylor Ridge and Gus Behn of Edgington; fourteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two sisters and two brothers. Her husband and three children preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held in the residence at 3:30 Monday afternoon and in the Evangelical Church of Peace at 4 with the Rev. F. J. Rolf officiating. Burial will be in Chippiannock cemetery, Rock Island. Services at the residence will be private.
An inquest was scheduled to be held in the Knox mortuary, Rock Island, late this afternoon.
