Norma Lee Doyle of St. Clair, MO, departed this life in St. Clair on September 4, 2016, having reached the age of ninety-one years, five months and twenty-five days. Norma was born in St. Louis, MO, on March 14, 1925, daughter of William Hall and Susie Jane Hall nee Vest. On May 9, 1943, she was united in marriage to Jess Willard Doyle and six children came to bless this union.

Norma is survived by two sons, Keith Doyle of St. Clair, MO and Kelly Doyle and companion, Nancy, of Union, MO; by four daughters, Patricia Friend and husband, Ronald, of Sullivan, MO, Virginia Vollmer and husband, Robert, of St. Clair, Deborah Kamper and husband, James, of St. Clair and Kimberly Wedemeier of St. Clair; by twenty-six grandchildren, forty-five great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, William and Susie Hall; by her husband, Jess Doyle; by her daughter-in-law, Gigi Doyle, and by her sister, Eva Dell.

Norma was a Christian, believing in the Lord as her Savior and a member of New Chapel Hill Baptist Church near Sullivan, MO. She had made caring for her home and family her career in life and she never tired of her job. She was a gracious and kind lady who welcomed anyone into her home to share a meal. She liked spending time outdoors and gardening was one of her favorite pastimes. She loved nature and especially loved collecting rocks. She faithfully fed the birds and hummingbirds and enjoyed watching them at her feeders. She was a talented seamstress and was also talented at doing many crafts. Working jigsaw puzzles and drawing were other hobbies she enjoyed. Nothing made her happier then the time she spent with her children and grandchildren, for each of them held a special place in her heart.

A devoted and loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great and great-great-grandmother, aunt, great and great-great-aunt, cousin and friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 7, 2016, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO, with the Rev. Dick Hinson officiating. Interment was in New Chapel Hill Cemetery, Sullivan, MO. Memorials may be made to the family.
