Lois A Hennefer, 75, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away Monday, September 5, 2016 at the Bingham Memorial Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center from natural causes.

Lois was born May 12, 1941 in Blackfoot, Idaho to Claude Adams and Melba A Cottrel Adams. She was raised in Blackfoot, graduating from Blackfoot High School.

She married Pat Beasly in Azusa, California. Pat passed away after a few years of marriage. She married her high school sweetheart Gale “Tony” Kniffen, in Coronado, California. Following Tony’s discharge from the Navy, they moved back to Blackfoot in 1969. She and Tony were later divorced. In 1986 Lois married John Hennefer. They lived in Montana for six years and then moved back to Blackfoot.

Lois was a wonderful homemaker. She loved her family, grandchildren and caring for her foster children. She made beautiful quilts that she lovingly gave to her family and friends, was an excellent seamstress, Lois was very lucky at the casino when she would visit and always enjoyed herself there.

She is survived by her children, Marion, Marsha, Anthony, James and Kristina; step children, Lori South, Kirk, Bart and John Hennefer; brothers, Ferris, Ronald and Carl Adams; sisters, Erma Munson and Beulah Chaffin; and 18 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, Pat Beasly & John Hennefer; her son Bradley, her brothers Ferris and Ronald, her sister Erma, and her parents.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday September 9, 2016 at the Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave. A visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service from 10:00-10:50 a.m. A graveside interment will follow the services at 2:00 p.m. on Friday in the Moreland Cemetery.
