He was the love of Arlene's life and my brother in law. Known as Frog throughout the community. Husband of Arlene, father of Major, Jr. and Anthony. I never knew why Major was called "Frog", he looked like the average teenager, but everyone called him "Frog". I have few memories of him, but I do remember he and his friends would ride the New Jersey ferry (crossing the Delaware River)to go to the skating ring in Franklinville, N.J. One night coming from Franklinville, became his last. This particular night an army friend who was not familiar with the road was driving. The accident became fatal for Frog and two others.
