She was born on December 14, 1896. She Married John T. Richards. He preceded her in death.
Tyhra worked for the telephone company in her early years, and also as a seamstress. She was a member of the Daughters of the Nile and loved to bowl and play pool.
She was preceded in death by her husband and daughter, Lois Ketchum. She is survived by her son Jack O. Richards of Salt Lake City, Bud and Ruth Lindsley of Long Beach, California. Eight grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren, two great-great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at the Mount Olivet Cemetery 1342 East 500 So., Salt Lake City, UT. on Tuesday, November 12, 1996 at 2 p.m. Friends may call at Evans & Early Mortuary from 1:15 to 1:45 p.m. for visitation.
