Mrs. Afton M. Cloud, 47, died Sunday at St. Francis Hospital.

Mrs. Cloud was born April 2, 1909 in Harrisburg, Ill. She was the daughter of Theodore and Willie Ann Miller Hall. She was married to Roy R. Cloud in 1927 in Harrisburg.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mary Edwards of Peoria and Mrs. Beverly Carnell of Gary, Ind.; three sons, Pfc. Conrad Cloud, U.S. Army in Germany, Robert D. Cloud of Peoria, Russell E. Cloud of Peoria; four sisters, Mrs. Mable Clarida, Mrs. Ruey Moore, Mrs. Blondell Williams, all of Harrisburg, and Mrs. Ruby Gogue of Chicago.
