Theodore Currie, Albany Druggist for a number of years, died at Hendrick Memorial Hospital, Abilene. He became ill at Barnes=Williams Drug Center in Abilene, where he had been employed for 19 years.

The funeral is being held at Elliott's Chapel of Memories. (Obituary says he will be buried in Elmwood, however, that is not true he is buried in Albany.)

Mr. Currie was born in Dallas June 11, 1903. He was reared in Gorman. After completing high school he entered the Pharmacy School of the University of Texas at Galveston, finishing in 1925. He came to Albany with Sanders Drug store, and later he and Albert Porter operated the Porter-Currie Pharmacy for a number of years. He went to Abilene in 1946.

He was married to Edella Wilhelm, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Wilhelm, of Albany in 1933.
