He was born November 28, 1932, in Lindstrom, Minnesota, the son of John and Edith (Hall) Abrahamson.

Ron was a veteran having served in the Army with the 99th Field Artillery Battalion of the First Calvary Division from 1952-1954.

Ron married his high school sweetheart, Violet Nicklason, October 9, 1954.

Ron graduated from the Minnesota School of Business and upon graduating began a 31 year career in court reporting, ultimately becoming a managing partner in Van Wyngarden and Abrahamson, retiring December of 1997.

For several years, Ron delivered Meals on Wheels. He was given an Outstanding Senior Volunteer Award in Washington, D.C. by the Assistant Secretary for Aging, U.S. Dept. of Health & Human Services in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the Senior Medicare Patrol Program.

Ron was an active member of Nazareth Lutheran Church where he served with the deacon committee and was elected to the church council in 1973. In 1976, he served as president of the church council. Ron was a devoted and beloved husband, father and grandfather. He deeply loved his family, embraced life, lived each day to the fullest and was thankful to God.
