Mrs. Green passed away at 9:50 p.m., Friday, August 12, 2016 at her home.

She was born September 1, 1942, at Memphis, Tennessee, to Edward Eugene Gewin and Ella Loyce Arndell Gewin. She enjoyed time spent with family and was a loving mother, grandmother and sister.

She is survived by four children, Danita Loyce, James Harvill and wife, Janet, Tracie Gill and husband, Donald and Samantha Simons and husband, Matthew; eleven grandchildren, Christopher Carson, Jonathan Barber, Martin Hayes, John Hayes, Garrett Harvill, Katherine Gill, Emma Gill, Norah Gill, Ryland Gill, Matthew Simons, Jr. and Micheal Simons; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Gene Gewin and wife, Pat; two sisters, Juanita Bailey and Barbara Eoff and husband, Charles; and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents, two brothers, Hadda Lee Gewin and Reddick Gewin and four sisters, Patricia Lemon, Nancy Sasser, Edna Carrell and Winnie Alsup, precede her in death.

Arrangements under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
