Steve George Abraham, 86, of Bremond, died Monday, Dec. 4, 2006, at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas. Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bremond. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery under the directon of Bremond Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, and a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. at Abraham Hall in Bremond.

Steve served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and was a charter member of the Bremond Volunteer Fire Department.

Survivors include daughter, Shirley Abraham Tallis and husband, Alan; grandsons, Bryan Tallis, Scott Tallis and Justin Whitworth; sister, Joanna Johnston and husband, Joe; brother-in-law, Floyd Wachel; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and Lee Ray Scott; sister-in-law, Marie Abraham; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
