Suzanne Keene died Thursday, September 1, 2016 at her residence in Columbia. Suzanne's funeral services were be conducted Sunday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Hubert Cunningham officiating. Burial was at Rose Hill Cemetery.

The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Clifford Gene Blocker and the late Hariett Sue Whitaker Blocker. She loved to cook, go to the beach, and enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and grandson, Wyatt. Mrs. Keene was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church. She held the position of Patient Service Representative with Vanderbilt Walk-in Clinic.

Survivors include her husband, Mark Keene of Columbia; daughters, Bethany (Matthew) Moss of Brentwood and Jennifer Bridge of Columbia; stepdaughter, Tabitha Keene of Columbia; brother, Todd (Linda) Blocker of Columbia; grandson, Wyatt Bridge of Columbia; aunt, Cynthia Britton of Columbia; two nieces, Kelsey Blocker and Katie Blocker; cousins, Dawn Hudson, Courtney Love, and David Gibbs all of Columbia; and special friends she considered family, Terry and Jade Anderson, Dean and Terry Smith, Steve and Reggie Halloway, and Chuck and Lynne Estes.

Active pallbearers will be Matt Moss, Chuck Estes, Terry Anderson, Dean Smith, Steve Halloway, David Gibbs, Josh Cozart, and Todd Blocker. Honorary pallbearers include Steve Sprinkle, Gary Turner, Mike O'Hara, and past employees and friends of Clifford's Big Apple Market.

The family would like to express a special thanks to Reggie Halloway and the medical team at Vanderbilt for their loving care and support during the illness of Mrs. Keene.

The family suggests memorials to Vanderbilt Ingram Cancer Center, 1161 22nd Avenue South, Suite 1903, Nashville, TN 37232.
