Mrs. Caudill dies
Funeral services for Mrs. Atha Hampton Caudill, 65, wife of David D. Caudill, were conducted Oct. 9 at the Doty Baptist Church, Jeremiah, by Elders Bee Whitaker, Monroe Caudill and Alva Caudill. Burial was in the John Hampton Cemetery at Letcher.
Mrs. Caudill died Oct. 7 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Hospital.
She was born at Jeremiah and was a daughter of the late John and Rainie Whitaker Hampton. She was a member of the Doty Baptist Church.
Survivors besides her husband are four daughters, Mrs. Edith Caudill, Jeremiah; Mrs. Hester Blair and Mrs. Arizona Wysong, both of Dayton, Ohio; and Mrs. Anna Lou Yates, Richmond, Ind.; two sisters, Mrs. Harriet Back, Letcher, and Mrs. Vina Blair, Jeremiah; five brothers, Mander Hampton, Dave Hampton and Paul Hampton, all of Jeremiah; Jim Hampton of Manchester and Willie Hampton of Brownstown, Ind., and five grandchildren.
