John R. Kipper Sr., 74, of the 5200 block of Revere Drive, died Nov. 6, 1996.
A native of Norfolk, he was retired from Mama Kayer's Bakery.
Survivors include his wife, Carol D. Kipper; a son, John R. Kipper Jr.; a brother, Raymond Kipper of Norfolk; two granddaughters, Amy Nickerson and her husband, Ian of Chesapeake, Monica Kipper of Norfolk; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Christ United Methodist Church by the Rev. Frances T. Moody. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is handling arrangements.
