EDMONDSON Thomas (Blackie) Melvin Edmondson 75 ,passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2004. at St. Vincent's Hospital Jacksonville. Born in Birmingham, AL the son of Thomas M. & Mary Kate (Rollins) Edmondson Sr. He had been a Bakery Worker for many years before retiring, and a member of Bakery and Confectionary workers Union. He was also member of Old Plank Road Baptist Church. Mr. Edmondson is survived by his wife Sally, four sons Douglas, Bobby Lee (Judy),Thomas (Beverly) and Mark Bennett. A daughter Tina Ann (Jon). Seven (7) Grandchildren, Three (3) Great-grandchildren. A brother Herman Edmondson. Several Nieces, Nephews and friends. Visitations will be Thursday (Sept 16) from 6-8 PM at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 729 S. Edgewood Ave. Jacksonville. Funeral Services will be Friday at 2 PM from the Edgewood Chapel with Pastor Larry McGinley officiating. Burial to follow in Riverside Memorial Park. Town & Country Funeral Home.
