Nicholas J. Calvino Sr., of Plymouth, formerly of Marshfield, died on February 8th. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary S. (Capone) Calvino who died in December 2015. Born in Boston on January 11, 1930 a son of the late Gerard and Lucy (Salvaggi) Calvino he was educated in Boston and went on to serve in the US Army during the Korean War. Nicholas worked as a Machinist for the Merriman Corp. for 46 years. He is survived by his loving son Nicholas J. Calvino Jr. and his wife Suzanne of Plymouth. Cherished grandfather of Nicole and Kristine Calvino. Brother of Salvatore Calvino and his wife Carmella of Peabody and the late Josephine, Louie, John, Philip, Charles, and James Calvino. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 17th at 1:00 p.m. in St. Marys Church, North Plymouth. Visiting hours in the Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court St., Plymouth prior to Mass from 11:00 a.m. till 12:45 p.m. Burial in Vine Hills Cemetery Plymouth.
