Jean L. Austin, 87, of Mars died Saturday, Sept. 10, 2016 at the Arbors III of St. Barnabas.
Born Jan. 4, 1929, in Homestead, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Lillian Williams Anderson.
Jean was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown, the North Suburban Fine Arts League and the Butler and Treesdale Country Clubs.
Surviving are a daughter, son, sister and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John "Jack" T. Austin, who she married July 2, 1949, and who died Oct. 19, 2011; and her brother, Eugene Anderson; and two sisters, Sharon Yonkavitz and Arlene Flamm.
Burial in Bakerstown Cemetery.
