From the Erie County Reporter (issue of 12 Feb 1885, copy received from Berlin Hts Historical Society):
"On last Sunday morning, February 1, Aunt Polly Lee, nee Driver, departed this life, aged 83 years, 3 months and 16 days. Her husband Henry lee, died twenty years ago, being age 64 years old. They leave a family of three sons, John W., Jas E., and Thos B, aged respectively 52, 50 and 45 years, all having families. Henry Lee and Polly Driver were married on the 15th of October A.D. 1831. Aunt Polly has been ailing all xx and her death was expected at any time. She was troubled with asthma. She was a member of the M.E. church, and was prepared to go. Funeral sevices were hold at the Joppa church Feb 3 at 10:30am with Rev Russell from Vermilion officiating. After the services, the remains were deposited in Peake's cemetery."
