NARA War Department records list this soldiers Home of Record as Washington, District Of Columbia...Killed In Action.

Note: the headstone clearly shows the last name as Barzeel, however I think this may be an error. His headstone application form, name as listed on the 87th Infantry Division casualty roster list his last name as Barzee so I am leaving the memorial as Barzee rather than Barzeel. Lastly there are no last names Barzeel on any Find A Grave memorial.
