"Stuart Luther Brumaghim, Hyndsville, died at 6:20 this morning, July 19, at his home of a heart attack. He was taken ill about nine o'clock last evening. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Sunday afternoon at the Mereness Funeral Home, Cobleskill, with the Rev. Franklyn Wright, pastor of the Hyndsville Methodist church officiating. Burial will be at Cobleskill. Mr. Brumaghim was born in Hyndsville July 5, 1890, the son of Luther and Elva (Salsburgh) Brumaghim and had resided in that village practically all his life. For a time he was employed on the D. & H. railroad as station master at Hyndsville and later at Delmar. Following that he managed a store at Hyndsville and since has been employed in farming. He was married twenty years ago to Miss Norma Steenburgh, who survives him as do their six children: Eleanor, Jean, Stuart James, Robert, Norma Mary and Louis. A veteran of World War I, he served with the army railroad engineers in France. Mr. Brumaghim has been a member of the Schoharie County Band for a number of years.
