Funeral services for Mr. Boatwright will be Friday, September 16, 2016 at Bible Baptist Church, Fort Mill, SC. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Park – Cherry Road.
Born in Chesterfield County, Mr. Boatwright was the son of the late Samuel Thomas and Clara Rainey Boatwright. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Margie Boatwright; his son, Fred T. Boatwright Jr.; his brother, Jerry Boatwright (Naomi) and his sister, Omni Walker.
Mr. Boatwright proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Fort Mill, SC. He was known by many in Rock Hill as the manager of Auto Lube on Cherry Road where he retired from after 25 years.
