George E. Bruni, 71, of 178 Green St., Allentown, died Sunday in Sacred Heart Hospital. He was the husband of Helen (Krikovich) Bruni.
He owned and operated Henry's Tavern, Emmaus, from 1948 until retiring in 1973.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Henry and Angelina (Masi) Bruni.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving with his widow are two sisters, Clara and Sister Alda, both of Rome, Italy; a stepson, Donald J. McMullen of Allentown, and three grandsons.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Kohut Funeral Home, 950 Front St., Allentown. A calling hour will precede the services.
