Anna Belle moved to Pauls Valley with her family at an early age.
Anna Belle attended school at Liberty and later met and married J. C. "Choc" Murray in Gainesville, Texas on October 11, 1941. The couple made their home in Pauls Valley and had been married for 63 years.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, totally devoted to her children and grandchildren. She was also a faithful member of the Paul and Pine Church of Christ, and was baptised in 1950.
Anna Belle is survived by her loving husband, J. C. "Choc" Murray; two children and their spouses; Joe and Sheila Murray, and Lou and Vernon Jones; four grandchildren; Shane and Theresa Cosner, Cody and Jenner Cosner, Hillary and Andy Gustin, and Mariah Murray; three great grandchildren; Payton, Gracie and Zack.
Funeral services were held Thursday January 13, 2005 at 2 p.m. in the Wooster Chapel in Pauls Valley, with Roy Shave officiating. Casket beares were W. C. Pesterfield, Dale Dacus, Delbert Roberson, Charles Fryar, Thio Dacus, and Roy Woody. Burial was under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home.
