SFC Robert Ernest Minor, II, age 45 of Clarksville, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at his home.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, September 19, 2016 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Pastor Kent Holz officiating. Burial will take place at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service on Monday.
Robert was born on December 28, 1970 in Fort Carson, Colorado, the son of Robert Ernest Minor and Donna Strasheim. He is preceded in death by his father and also his sister, Amber Minor. Robert was currently serving in the U.S. Army as SFC and was a recipient of a Bronze Star and Angel of Battlefield Award. He was a member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Sara Reed Minor; children by marriage, Christopher Bell, Michael Powers, and Jennifer Lopez; 2 grandchildren, Zane and Josiah; brother, Kenneth Minor; sisters, Robin Marsh, Diane Gordon, Debbie Skinner, Theresa Fowlkes, and Tracy Cordova; faithful service dog, Chewy Minor.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Transition Battalion or TADSAW (Train a Dog Save a Warrior).
