Bamberg, Martha Rudisill, 82, of Danville, Va passed away peacefully surrounded by her daughters on Monday, September 12, 2016 after a brief illness. She was born in Iron Station, NC to the late Carl and Connie Rudisill. She was predeceased by her husband, Waymon Bamberg.

Martha was a retired registered nurse practicing at the Auburn University Infirmary and Danville Regional Medical Center. She was a long standing member of First Baptist Church where she served for many years as a deacon and participated on numerous committees. Martha especially enjoyed singing in the church choir and ringing handbells. She sang in the Heart Strings for several years; held several leadership positions at the Wednesday Club, the Windsor Heights Garden Club and was past President of the Children's Theatre. The family would like to thank Vesna Bulic of Our Lady of Hope for the loving care provided to their mother.
