Billy Joe Coleman, age 79, of Hobart, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2016. He was born in Trimble, TN on August 26, 1937 to the late Marion and Abbie Coleman. Billy Joe proudly served in the US Army. He worked at the Budd Plant and as a Laborer for Local #81 and Superior Construction for the State of lllinois and State of Indiana. Billy Joe was a member of the VFW 5365 Auxiliary, American Legion 454 and the Izaak Walton League, where he was a past president. He will be remembered as loving husband, father, grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Barbara; son, Jeffrey (Priscilla) Coleman of Hobart; two daughters: Tammy (William) Carroll of NC and Vicki Jo (Mike) Raymond of Gary; eight grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild; sister, Annie Lea Tubb of Martin, TN;and nephiew James E. Tubb, Jr. of Sandoval, Illinois; other loving family. Billy Joe was also preceded in death by four brothers: Max, Bennie, and D.B. Coleman, and Bob Matheny; four sisters: Mary Ruth Woods, Nellie Edmaiston, Evie Jewel South, and Maxine Coleman, and Private burial of cremains will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Uncle Joe's grandmamma is buried in pierce cemetery dyer county trimble Tennessee her name is ALLIE COLEMAN AND UNCLE JOE'S GRANDDADDY'S NAME IS William S. COLEMAN.
