Franklin D. Saterfiel
Dumas, Ark.- Services for Franklin D. Saterfiel, 62, who died Saturday, Sept. 13, 23, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Walnut Grove, Ark., were held Wednesday, September 17, 2003, with burial in the Sharon Cemetery in Newton County. Elder Charles Ware officiated. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Forest was in charge of arrangements.
He was born in Newton, and lived in Lake before moving to Dumas, Ark. He had lived in Walnut Ridge, Ark. since 1975. He was a Baptist. Mr. Saterfiel retired as manager of Dremel Manufacturing and was a, U.S. Air Force veteran.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Angela Dawn Strewart; two sisters; three brothers; and his parents, Fred Lee and Maude Gibbs Saterfiel.
Survivors include his wife, Lottie Warren Saterfiel; son, Timothy Gibbs, Union; sisters, Mary Moore, Carthage; Lois Shoemaker, Rita McDill, both of Laurel. Janice Roebuck, Vancleave, Irma Copeland, Tylertown; brothers, R.B. Saterfiel, Pearl, Ken Saterfiel, Jackson; five grandsons and three granddaughters.
Pallbearers were Clint Satterfield, Ronnie Copeland, Donnie Copeland, Fred Saterfiel Jr., Johnny Pearson, and Jimmy Pearson.
