Lake- Services for Mitchell Davis Cooksey, 7, who died Tuesday, Nov.22, 2005, at Blair E. Batson Children's Hospital in Jackson, were held Saturday, Nov. 26, 2005, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Forest with burial in Sharon Primitive Baptist Cemetery. The Rev. Ken McLemore officiated.
Mitchell was a lifelong resident of Lake.
He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Juanita Cooksey and Dolly Farmer.
Survivors include his parents, Pat and Melinda Cooksey of Lake; one sister, Brittany Cooksey of Meridian and one brother, Nathan Hollingsworth of Lake.
Pallbearers were Steve Posey, Shane Posey, Mike Farmer and Dwight Brown. Honorary pallbearers were Robert Wooten and Jon Williams.
