From her son, Jason Beeman, on Sept 11, 2016, on death of his mother Betty:
If you knew my mom, you know how hard this is for me. A true woman in every sense of the word. Last night my best friend, biggest cheerleader, confidant, my everything was called home to God and she answered the call. Our hearts are torn apart but we know that you will always be with us to watch over us and guide us. Until we see each other again..we love you more.
