Our loving wife, mom, grandma, great grandma, and friend Barbara Lee Gerome Cowley has finally been set free of all her pain on August 21, 2016. She was born February 12, 1934 in Salt Lake City to Bill and Florence Gerome. She graduated from South High School.
She leaves behind her husband, Harold, of almost 51 years, her children, Kathryn (Doug), Bud (Danielle), Jennifer (Chris), stepchildren, Ricky (Mara) and Jestien (Rachael), eight grandbabies, four great grandbabies, sisters, Billie (Rulon), Mary (Bob) and brother, Tom (Tammy) and Daisy her four legged baby girl and companion. We know that her Mom, Dad, and brother, Dave were waiting for her eternal return.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at the Miller Ward, 3219 S. 300 E in Salt Lake City. With a viewing 2 hours prior to the service. The family would like to give a special thanks to the nurses, CNA and staff at CARESOURCE hospice center, they showed Mom so much love and care.
