Hop Howell, 76, of Route One, Vinemont was struck by an automobile, while walking on the Bee Line Highway, near Mount Zion. The car did not stop and the injured man walked 200 yards to the George Huffstuttler residence. Mr Huffstuttler called an ambulance and the Doctor and Mr Howell were taken to the hospital, where he died of his injuries.
