Mrs. Julia Helen Reeder Hinds, 74, 1592 11th East, died Monday at 10:35 a.m. in a Salt Lake hospital after a long illness. Born Jan. 23, 1883, Lamoni, Iowa, to Nathan Miles and Emma Jane Reeder. She married Merle Hinds, April 14, 1914, in Evanston, Wyo. Member First Baptist Church. Utah resident for 45 years.

Survivors: widower; daughter, Mrs. Paul (Elaine) Wheeler, Ogden; son, W. Ed. Salt Lake City; brother W. J. Reeder, Oroville, Calif.; four grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral Thursday noon, First Baptist Church, 777 13th East. Friends may call Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at 574 E. 1st South and at the church one-half hour prior. Burial at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
