Griswold, Janet H. 90 Dec. 20, 1925 Sept. 14, 2016 Janet H Griswold passed away Sept. 14, 2016 at the age of 90. A member of a pioneer family, her great-grandparents crossed the plains to Oregon Territory in 1846. Janet, a graduate of Grant HS and the University of Oregon where she was President of her sorority, Pi Beta Phi. Both Janet and her twin sister, Helen Templeton were very active in campus activities. Janet enjoyed gardening, served as President of The Country Gardens Club. She also served on the Library Board of the Lake Oswego Public Library. Preceding Janet in death was her husband of 50 years, George; and their daughter, Dana. Janet is survived by her son Craig (Eileen); daughter, Julie; grandsons, John and James; granddaughters, Annie Taylor (Kevin) and Savannah; and one great-grandchild, Benjamin. A graveside service will be held at Riverview Cemetery on Saturday Sept. 24. Friends are invited to a reception at the Oswego Heritage House from 1:00-4:00 p.m. on Saturday Sept. 24.
