WALTER JENKINS, LONG AILING, DIES

In Ill health for several years, Walter Jenkins, 55, died at his home at 421 Third St., early Thursday. He was a barber before ill health forced him to retire. He had lived in Bismarck all his life. Mr. Jenkins leaves six children of his own and two step children, in addition to his widow. The children are Rose Marie, Gloria Mae, Shirley, Jimmy, and Sandy, by his last marriage, and Raymond, by a former marriage. All but Raymond, who is at Butte, Mont., are at home.
Step-children are Mrs. Maynard Entringer, Bismarck, and Ronald Homer, a senior in high school here, Mrs. Jenkins' children by an earlier marriage.
He also leaves two brothers and a sister, Burt and Oliver Jenkins of Michigan and Mrs. T M McLaughlin, also of Michigan.
Born in Bismarck, Oct. 16, 1886, Mr. Jenkins was the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Jenkins. He was twice married, the second time, to the present Mrs. Jenkins, 14 years ago last Nov. 4.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed. The body is at the Webb Funeral home.
