Axel Brostrom, an employe of the Borg & Beck company, toppled over as he was walking through the main shop this mornnig, gasped a few times and died. Mr. Brostrom was employed as a blacksmith and had been with the Borg & Beck Co. for the last two years. He resided in Searstown, Rock Island. Dr. F. J. Otis and the police were called, but Brostrom had passed before either arrived. Dr. Otis stated that death was probably due to apoplexy. Brostrom leaves a widow, one son and one daughter.

Funeral services for Axel K. Brostrom, who died suddenly yesterday morning while at his work at the Borg & Beck foundry in Moline, will be held at the home, 4416 Twelfth street, at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon.
a coroner's jury at an inquest yesterday afternoon found Mr. Brostrom's death to have been due to heart failure.
Mr. Brostrom was born in Helsingland, Sweden, Dec. 7, 1862. He came to this country and direct to Rock Island in 1882 and was married here to Anna Loving in 1886.
He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Anna Brostrom; three children, Emil of Moline, Mrs. E. T. Anderson of Rock Island and Louis at home; four grandchildren; a brother and two sisters in Sioux City, Iowa, and one brother living in Chicago.
