Lois Hays former resident of Ringwood, OK passed away Wednesday morning September 14, 2016 in Ponca City, OK. She was 91 years of age. Lois was born on November 10, 1924 in Colona, Colorado to William H. and Sarah Belle Bishop Carnal.

Lois grew up in Colorado and she attended the Colorado School for the Deaf and Blind, where she met the love of her life Charles Ray Hays Jr. They were married May 22, 1954 in Palmer Lake, Colorado and made their home on a farm in Ringwood, OK. She supported his work in farming by being a full-time housewife and raising three daughters. She also enjoyed sewing, reading, caring for her family and helping any stray cat that came around.

Survivors include 3 daughters; Marcy White, Sarah and husband Bob Rodgers of Ponca City, OK and Judy Maples and husband Pete of Ringwood, OK, 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, 2 sisters, and a son-in-law; Zang White.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday in the Garriott Road Church of Christ in Enid, OK with Pastor Ray Rose officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Meno, OK with Grace Memorial Chapel of Ponca City in care of arrangements.
