Thomas T. Corwin, 67, well known Waynesburg resident, died at 12:15 p.m. Friday, July 16, 1954, at his home on East Franklin street following a long illness.

A lifelong resident of Greene County, he was born August 17, 1886, in Center Township, a son of the late Cephas and Anna Ely Corwin, and had lived in Waynesburg practically all his life. He served as dog law enforcement officer in Waynesburg Borough for the last six years and for five years held the office of constable in the North Ward. He was a member of the First Methodist Church of Waynesburg.

Surviving are his wife, Verda Rose; one son; three daughters and nine grandchildren. Mr. Corwin was one of a family of eight children, only one of whom survives.
