"THE FUNERAL OF MRS. ROBB"
The remains of Mrs. George Robb were brought to this city from Chicago on the 4:05 train Wednesday and were taken direct to the Methodist church in this city where funeral services are being held. The Rev. W.H. Pierce will preach the funeral sermon and the interment will be in the Rock Falls cemetery near the grave of the husband of the deceased who died only a few months ago.
Jessie Rankin was born in the Highlands of Scotland sixty-three years ago last spring. She was married in Glasgow, Scotland, about forty-three years ago to George Robb. They came to this country thirty years ago and located in Rockford, Ill., where they lived for five years and then moved to this city where they spent sixteen years. The family then moved to Dixon and three years later to Chicago. Mrs. Robb leaves four daughters and one son. They are Mrs. R.L. Stephenson of this city, Mrs. Tena Brandon, Misses Minnie and Barbara and Mr. Amos Robb of Chicago. Besides these she leaves two sisters, Mrs. Maragaret Sands of Salt Lake, Utah, and Mrs. James Tairney of Belfast, Ireland.
