Virgil W. Brull, 68, of Manitowoc, died Thursday, May 13, 1993. Beloved husband of Joan (nee Buhk).

Also survived by 2 children, Nancy Brull, Mukwonago and Russell (Gail) Brull, New Berlin. 3 step-daughters, Pamela (Jeffrey) Wheeler, West Chicago; Renae (David) Schermetzler, Cleveland, WI; Kim (Joseph) Brull, Manitowoc. Also 4 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, his lifelong best friend, Ben Heili, Manitowoc, other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents Adam and Anna Brull, wife LaVerne (nee Schmitt) and several brothers and sisters.

Mr. Brull worked in the trucking industry for 30 years, most of those years were with Ryder Truck Lines from where he retired as terminal manager. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps for 4 years during WWII in the Pacific Theater of war. He fought in the battle of Iwo Jima. He then spent an additional 16 years in the U.S. Air Force. Member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church.
