Stacie Dawn Bowers "Our Angel", our sweet angel, was involved in an automobile accident Saturday, August 2, 2003, which claimed her life five days later, August 7, 2003. She was born Jan 7, 1988 in Salt Lake City to Dan R. and Sylvia Jean Hatch Bowers. Stacie is known for her exceptional kindness and consideration of others. Stacie was always concerned with others and is a very sweet spirit who touched the lives of many people. She was a faithful and active member of the LDS Church and served as President of her Beehive and MiaMaid classes. She was a joy to her parents, especially her mother. They spent much time together and were each other's best friend. Stacie loved her family and enjoyed the times when we were together. She loved her pet cats, fish and birds. Stacie was a talented decorator and helped her mom decorate the house and yard. She enjoyed school and was an excellent student; she was given the "America's Future Award," in the sixth grade because of her kindness to her classmates. Stacie's life ended much too quickly, but she has blessed her family with so much happiness and love that we can scarcely contain it. We'll miss her terribly, but we are comforted knowing she is safe and that we will see her again and be with her. She leaves behind her parents, Dan and Sylvia Bowers; her siblings, Ryan Bowers, Glen (Shylah) Bowers, Lisa (James) Curtis; one niece, Malayna Bowers, whom she loved dearly. Services will be 11 a.m. Tues. Aug 12, 2003, at the Hunter West Stake Center, 7035 W. 3605 S. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Mon. Aug 11, 2003 at the church and 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Services under the direction of Peel Funeral Home. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
